Under the supervision of the Supply Chain Specialist (Monitoring) in MSDEU, the consultant will gather supply chain intelligence, help organize it in the existing monitoring tools and further develop the implemented visibility tools for decision making, communication and to demonstrate results.Welcome to the NYC Office of the Mayor Jobs Page The purpose of the consultancy is to support MSDEU with COVAX supply chain analysis, take active part in the development of the Data Warehouse, the establishment of DataMart’s, the design and maintenance of COVAX related dashboards and to ensure reliable supply master data quality.

The unit’s work is cross-cutting in nature, providing end-to-end supply chain monitoring via data analytical tools. The work is done in close collaboration with the IT center and the various business centers. The Monitoring Strategic Data and Evidence Unit (MSDEU) plays a crucial role in gathering COVAX supply information, data handling, generating visibility and in reporting COVAX supply achievements to UNICEF management, the COVAX Facility and the general public. Under the supervision of the Supply Chain Specialist (Monitoring) in MSDEU, the consultant will ensure the provision of reliable and timely supply data in view of supporting analysis, monitoring, and planning for supply and logistics activities.

The purpose of the consultancy is to support MSDEU with context specific, short or medium-term supply chain analysis to help in the management and visibility of Covid-19 and other UNICEF supply chains. The unit’s work is cross-cutting in nature, providing end-to-end supply chain monitoring and analysis to SD, Regional and Country Offices, and collaborating with other Divisions and external supply partners. MSDEU collects, analyses and produces supply chain intelligence that empowers the organization with knowledge, in taking decisions, and in communication. The Monitoring Strategic Data and Evidence Unit (MSDEU) focuses on the collection, generation, synthesis, use and sharing of evidence and data as key contributions to supply chain optimization, programme design, and demonstrating results and achievements.
